As an instructor at both the community college and university level I abhor this text. It takes a strong view on technology, to the exclusion of concepts and pencil and paper. You might find this book useful if you are going to have your students surgically attached to their graphing calculators, but if you expect your students to be able to reason and figure without constantly referring to their plastic pals I'd avoid this text. I had it replaced at my institution after using it for a semester.
